Ava Dingley

Ava began riding dressage at the age of 8 years old. Prior to training with Christiane Noelting, Ava trained with Sabine Schut-Kery. She has brought along her horse Sir Furstenhanz; an 8 year old Oldenburg gelding (Sir Donnerhall/Fürst Heinrich) she purchased in 2018. She has won many high point awards in the FEI third level, as well as end of year awards in the lower levels and placed First in a number of Interscholastic Equestrian League shows. She has earned her USDF bronze medal and has been consistently competing in the FEI junior tests.
In 2017 Ava won the team gold medal at NAJYRC for Region 7 with her Junior team, placing in the top ten in the individual test. She was also invited to compete at the USEF Festival of Champions that same year. Some of her other previous achievements include winning Reserve Junior Champion at age 13 in the Southern California CDS Junior Championship (2015) and winning Champion and Reserve champion in the lower levels at the Del Mar national shows. She has ridden with Christine Traurig on numerous occasions as well as ridden in clinics with Robert Dover, Volker Brommann, Juan Matute, Axel Steiner, David Wightman and Kathleen Raine. Ava is a full time Freshman at Sacramento State University and is majoring in Kinesiology with a concentration in exercise science and plans to become a Physician’s Assistant as well as continuing her career in Dressage. Ava is an avid violinist, guitarist, and singer, and was granted a full LACESMA music scholarship for violin at the age of 9. During high school, she was president of the National Honors Society of Sports Medicine for two years, and placed in the top ten in the national AACI sports medicine competitions. |
