Wintessa, born in 2005, is a dark bay Hanoverian mare by Winterpriz out of a Walldorf/ Argentan dam. She is about 16.3 hh and has been shown 3rd level, receiving scores of up to 70%.

At the 2011 CDS/ USDF Region 7 Championships Wintessa has been awarded 5th place in the Open Division of the 6 year old Futurity, showing solid performances on both days of the competition. In the California Bred Futurity, that combines all 4, 5, and 6 year old horses bred in California, Wintessa was the highest placing 6 year old - ranking 5th.

Wintessa was born and raised at the beautiful CNDC property. As a foal, we were taken by her ground covering, uphill going and elevated movements of outstanding quality. As soon as we started her, Wintessa surprised us with powerful movements even under the rider, just as her successful Grand Prix father Winterprinz. Winterprinz is one of the most successful USA dressage horses. As we watched Wintessa growing up, we know are selling a friendly and people loving horse of perfect character.

Wintessa is great in snaffle as well as in double bridle and has scored 70% in third level test 3 this season (video). We are currently schooling her 4th level.
