2025 Foals

We eagerly anticipate our 2025 foal crop, which promises to be exceptional! These upcoming foals are sired by three outstanding stallions: Secret, known for his modern type, expressive movement, and rideability; Morricone, celebrated for his elegance, elasticity, and proven success as a breeding sire; and Velantis N, our very own rising stallion with impressive athleticism and versatility.

Each pairing has been thoughtfully planned, with some being repeats of previous years' Gold Medal-winning youngsters, to produce foals with top-notch potential for both performance and conformation. We’re excited to welcome these future stars and see what they bring to the world of sport horse breeding!

What is the AHS Gold Medal Foal Award?
Dressage foals are judged on type, conformation, and basic gaits. The American Hanoverian Society will award this medal to foals of dressage pedigree with an unofficial score of 8.0 or higher. Jumper foals are judged on type, conformation, basic gaits, and their pedigree. The AHS will award this medal to foals of jumper pedigree with an unofficial score of 7.75 or higher. This is not a foal competition nor automatically awarded to the Top Foal of the inspection day but an independent international Hanoverian award for high-quality foals. Judges will internally score foals at the inspection to determine the top dressage foals and jumping foals but those scores will not be recorded or given to foal owners. 🥇Full Sibling to the 2024 Hanoverian Inspection Gold Award Winner!
This year, Aurelia is again paired with CNDC's homebred, approved, and licensed stallion Velantis N, a 2018, 17.2 hh Hanoverian stallion by Vitalis. 2024 saw Velantis' first foals on the ground and this pairing with our Ampere mare has turned out to be a fantastic matchup.

Velantis N has now proven that he isn't just a phenomenal Dressage horse, but also a quality foal producer. He won all his classes at his state championship appearances in California in 2022, 2023, and 2024, earning scores as high as 87.8% in his 5yo Young Horse Qualifiers and an unbelievable 91.8% at the 6yo Young Horse Qualifier for the Festival of Champions in Chicago. Velantis N is also the 2024 6yo Futurity winner in California.

This will be Aurelia's third foal after earning Gold Medal awards for her 2022 filly Florencia by Franklin and her 2024 colt by Velantis N.

🥇Full Sibling to the 2023 Hanoverian Inspection Gold Award Winner!

Fleur d'Amour has been one of our most successful broodmares over the past years. After multiple Gold Medal Awards for her previous foals at the Hanoverian Inspections, even producing a licensed and approved stallion, Fleur is again in foal to Morricone. He is also the father of Fleur's 2023 colt Maximo N, who won his Hanoverian Foal Inspection with a Gold Medal Award.

Morricone is a distinguished Oldenburg stallion renowned for his exceptional elegance, refinement, and elastic movement. A champion of his licensing and winner of multiple dressage competitions, he combines outstanding rideability with a proven pedigree. Signorina has repeatedly produced super rideable and modern-type offspring. Last year's colt by Damaschino brought home the AHS Gold Medal 🥇 as well as the "Top Foal" award for his inspection.

2025 marks the third time Signorina is in foal to Secret. A standout at his performance tests and in competition, Secret gained attention as a Bundeschampionate winner and has continued to impress with his expressive gaits and rideability. As a sire, he consistently produces offspring with athleticism, elegance, and the temperament suited for high-level dressage, securing his place as a favorite among breeders worldwide.

After three foals to Vitalis, one of which earned a Gold Medal Foal Award at his inspection in 2023, we have now paired Delphina with the Bundeschampionate winner Secret.

Secret has proven himself as a reliable sire, consistently producing offspring with exceptional athleticism, expressive gaits, and top-tier potential for the dressage arena. At CNDC, we already have experience with this stallion as two foals were born to our proved broodmare Signorina in previous years. Secret's legacy continues to grow, making him a favorite among breeders and riders seeking future champions.
