2020 Champion California Dressage Society JR/YR Horse of the Year Top 10 in both 2019 USDF and CDS Open Training Level Championships; 3rd place finish at the final test of the 4 year old CDS Futurity with 72.3% Liriano is a darling young gelding with striking markings. He is a willing horse with three above average gaits with an especially uphill and balanced canter and ground covering walk. In 2019, Liriano earned consistent scores at Training Level in the 70s, even a score above 80%! In 2020, Liriano made the move to First Level with a Young Rider and has constantly scored in the 70s as well. He helped his Junior/ Young Rider win her first State Championship tittle at First Level. Liriano would be best suited for a junior/young rider looking to take a horse through the levels, though he has enough talent for a professional too! Liriano's sire, Licosto, a noble stallion in the Licoto XX Thoroughbred line. Boasting three impressive gaits, charm and elegance he has already been shown to be outstanding in competition. As a four year old at the national championships Licosto was placed in the finals with an overall score of 8.33 and a stride/gait score of 9.0. In 2009 he succeeded in winning 2nd place at the Westphalian Championships. Licosto was greatly demanded and listed at the highest price at the 2009 NRW Elite auction. |
